I didn't set out to be a fitness trainer.
I set out to feel like myself again.
Before my first pregnancy I was the fittest I’d ever been. I trained hard, I felt strong, I felt me.
Then came an emergency C-section — and with it, a body I barely recognised in the mirror. My core felt hollow and weak. I was sleep-deprived, angry, and quietly grieving the physical version of myself I thought I’d lost forever. In my desperation to bounce back, I pushed too hard and injured myself. That injury became the turning point. I stopped chasing the old me and started learning everything I could about what a postpartum body actually needs — how to rebuild the core properly, how to eat to support recovery, how to move in a way that works with your season of motherhood, not against it.

This time I rehabbed my core correctly, nourished myself without restriction, and trained in a way that left me feeling energised rather than depleted. I reached my goals. And more than that — I felt fierce again. I knew I had to share that with other moms.
I wanted to be the trainer I had desperately needed.
There was no shortage of workout plans. No shortage of nutrition advice. What there was, was a shortage of trainers who truly understood it — the exhaustion, the identity shift, the guilt of putting yourself last, the fear of doing something wrong after major abdominal surgery. I wanted to create a space where moms feel understood first, and coached second.
That’s when Fit as a Mother was born. Not another generic programme. A method — built specifically for the mom who is juggling everything and still trying to show up for herself. A programme that meets you exactly where you are, whether that’s six weeks postpartum or six years.
